TECNO’s SPARK Slim is the world’s slimmest entry-level smartphone
Remember when TECNO showcased their thinnest smartphone concept during MWC 2025 that totally went up against Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge? Straight from the drawing board, the uprising brand made the SPARK Slim a reality.
Slimmest for its price
Even though the first concept had a 5.75mm chassis, the mass market-ready TECNO SPARK Slim is still impressively slim at just 5.92mm. That’s for the 4G version. Its 5G variant (dubbed as the POVA Slim 5G) is tiny bit thicker at 5.95mm.
Speaking of, MediaTek’s Helio G200 is what’s under the hood of the SPARK while Dimensity 6400 for the POVA counterpart. Both share the same weight at 156 grams though.
This marvel in engineering was possible thanks to an Aerospace-Grade Fiberglass Back Cover at 0.36mm as well as TECNO’s Honeycomb Space Stacking Technology
This innovation means they have strategically optimized the placement of 8-core components: main board, battery, camera, speaker, USB-C port, TP cover, front camera. Heck, even the SIM card slot.
Other components are quite thin as well including its 0.3mm Vapor Cooling Chamber and a massive 5160mAh battery only measuring only 4.04mm.
If you’re worried about durability, it’s SGS and TÜV Rheinland certified, has surpassed the Military-Grade Shock Resistance Test, and is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i. Lastly, it’s IP64 water and dust-resistant.
Aside all that, most hardware specs are similar on paper: A flagship-grade AMOLED curved display with 144Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of max brightness. A 50MP rear camera, 45W wired charging plus 10W reverse wired charging, and a lone 8+256GB system configuration.

The phone runs HiOS 15 with all the nifty AI-powered Assistants and other Tools in mind.
Something unique to the TECNO Slim though is the Mood Light feature that displays and expresses life-like emotions through the Baymax-like lighting along its camera bar.
The Thinnest Power Duo
The newest TECNO Slim will make its debut at IFA 2025 ShowStoppers together with the already-existing MEGABOOK S14 — the industry’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop at 899 grams.
TECNO’s General Manager, Jack Guo, said that both of these products represent the company’s commitment in “delivering meaningful innovation”. One doesn’t have to choose between elegant design and powerful performance as these products deliver both style and substance in one
