Federal Government’s Support
“The Federal Government lauds Hilda Baci’s extraordinary effort in putting Nigeria once again on the global map. Her dedication to excellence and her unrelenting pursuit of greatness exemplify the Nigerian spirit that the world has come to appreciate,” Mohammed Idris said.
The Minister emphasized that Hilda’s journey reflects the values of perseverance, discipline, commitment, and legitimate labour. According to him, such attributes are vital in reshaping the image of Nigeria on the global stage.
Idris pledged the Federal Government’s full support for this initiative and similar projects that promote Nigerian excellence and cultural heritage abroad.
By committing to such global feats, Hilda is showcasing that Nigeria has much more to offer the world beyond stereotypes, particularly in areas like culinary arts, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
“We encourage more young Nigerians to channel their creativity and talents into ventures that will not only benefit them personally but also contribute to national development and global recognition,” Idris said.

Such traits are essential in repositioning Nigeria as a hub of quality, innovation, and creativity on the world stage.
On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Idris extended the government’s best wishes, stressing that Hilda’s victory would be a collective national triumph. Her record bid exemplifies how individuals can transform national pride into global recognition.
The Federal Government’s endorsement further reinforces the importance of creating an enabling environment where young Nigerians can pursue innovative ventures that celebrate national identity.

Whether or not she clinches the record, her courage, professionalism, and national support already mark this event as a collective victory for Nigeria.
